After many years of knowing Kenji Nakayama, I was fortunate enough to work with him on a collaborative project.
"Foundation Blocks" were created for the Museum of Craft & Design in San Francisco, Ca. 2016. Over 40 blocks were created for this installation.
Since the MCDSF show, the piece has traveled to Ron Herman in Japan, Boston Society of Arts & Crafts and 3S Arts Space in Portsmouth, NH 2017.
